This Privacy Policy explains how Ironhold ("the app", "we", "us") handles your information. Ironhold is published by BHR AI. We have built this app to be private by design. Please read this policy to understand our practices.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Ironhold does not require you to create an account. We do not collect, transmit, or store on our servers any of the following:

• Your name or the personal "why" statement you enter during setup
• Your streak data, reset history, or milestones
• Your journal entries
• Your pushup sessions or any in-app activity
• Your email address or contact information (unless you choose to email us directly)

All of this information is stored locally on your device. Sensitive information, including your profile, your "why" statement, your streak data, and your journal entries, is held in your device's encrypted secure storage (the iOS Keychain or the Android Keystore).

2. Information Processed by Third Parties

While Ironhold itself does not collect your personal data, the app uses a small number of third-party services to function. These services may process limited technical data:

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Ironhold displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob on certain screens. To serve ads, Google may collect and process device-level information such as a device identifier, IP address, and general technical data. Ironhold is configured to request non-personalized ads only, which limits the data used to what is necessary to show a basic advertisement. Ironhold's daily image feature fetches photographs from the Unsplash service. When an image is requested, a standard network request is made to Unsplash, which may process your IP address as part of delivering the image. Unsplash's privacy policy is available at unsplash.com/privacy.

3. Permissions the App Requests

Ironhold may ask for the following device permissions, each only when needed for a specific feature:

• Photo / media access: requested only when you choose to download a daily image, so the image can be saved to your gallery.
• Notifications: requested so the app can send you a daily check-in reminder. These reminders are scheduled locally on your device. We do not send remote push notifications.
• Biometric / device authentication: used only if you enable the optional App Lock feature, to unlock the app. Your biometric data never leaves your device and is never seen by the app; authentication is handled entirely by your device's operating system.

4. How Your Data Is Stored and Protected

Your data lives on your device. Sensitive content is stored using your device's hardware-backed encrypted storage. Because we do not transmit this data to any server we control, there is no central database of user information that could be breached.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Because your data is stored only on your device, you are in full control of it. You can permanently erase all of your data at any time using the "Delete All Data" option in the app's Settings screen. Uninstalling the app will also remove all locally stored data.

6. Children's Privacy

Ironhold is intended for adults and is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, please contact us and we will address it.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights under privacy laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA, including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Because Ironhold stores your data only on your device and we hold no copy, you can exercise these rights directly: you can view your data in the app and delete it at any time through Settings. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected in an updated version of the app.
